Month Procurement Internship - Bilingual Korean required

This 12-month procurement internship focuses on supporting the Business Services Team for North America. The intern will assist in procuring items such as raw materials, equipment, and construction vendors for LG Chem subsidiaries in the Americas. Key responsibilities include: - Sourcing and evaluating suppliers for raw materials, equipment, and construction services. - Supporting the procurement process from vendor identification to contract negotiation. - Coordinating with internal teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and services. - Maintaining accurate procurement records and documentation. - Assisting in vendor performance evaluations and relationship management. - Participating in cost analysis and market research to identify cost-saving opportunities. - Collaborating with cross-functional teams to support business needs. - Providing bilingual support (Korean/English) for communications with Korean-speaking vendors and stakeholders. - Contributing to process improvement initiatives within the procurement function.

Qualifications and requirements: - Bachelor's degree required. - Bilingual proficiency in Korean and English (both written and verbal) is required. - Recent college graduate or final year student preferred. - Strong organizational and time management skills. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Interest in procurement, supply chain, or business operations. - Previous internship or work experience in procurement or related field is a plus.
