Sales Fundamentals Career Training Program

This role is part of a career training program designed to prepare participants for entry-level sales positions. Participants will engage in a structured curriculum that combines classroom instruction with practical experience. Key responsibilities include: Skill Development: Attend and actively participate in in-classroom training sessions focused on sales fundamentals, including prospecting, lead generation, customer relationship management, and closing techniques. Develop professional skills such as communication, teamwork, and time management. Internship Preparation: Prepare for and participate in an internship placement with a partner company, where you will apply learned sales skills in a real-world business environment. This includes shadowing experienced sales professionals, assisting with sales calls, and managing customer accounts. Job Placement Support: Work with career coaches and placement specialists to identify job opportunities, refine resumes, practice interview skills, and secure a full-time sales role upon program completion. Mentorship and Coaching: Receive personalized coaching and mentorship from industry professionals to support professional growth, overcome challenges, and build a network in the sales field. Program Participation: Complete all program requirements, including attendance, assignments, and assessments. Engage in feedback sessions to track progress and adjust learning goals. Participants will also receive an educational stipend during the program to support their participation.

To be considered for this program, candidates must meet the following qualifications: - Be a young adult, typically between the ages of 18 and 24 (or as specified by program guidelines). - Have a high school diploma or equivalent (GED). - Demonstrate a strong interest in pursuing a career in sales. - Possess basic computer literacy and proficiency with common software applications (e.g., Microsoft Office). - Exhibit strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Be motivated to learn and committed to completing the program requirements. - No prior sales experience is required, but any customer service or retail experience is a plus. - Must be eligible to work in the United States.
