Apprentice Materials Technician

As an Apprentice Materials Technician within the Marine and Tunnels Section of the Civil Works Alliance (CWA), you will support the building of Sizewell C, a 3.2-gigawatt power station generating low-carbon electricity for around 6 million homes. Your responsibilities include: Assisting in the management and tracking of materials used in marine and tunnel construction activities. Supporting the inspection, testing, and quality control of materials to ensure compliance with project specifications. Maintaining accurate records of material deliveries, usage, and inventory levels.

Qualifications and requirements: Minimum of 5 GCSEs at grade 4/C or above, including English, Maths, and a Science subject. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work effectively in a team environment. Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
