Economics (Student Trainee

As a Student Trainee in the Semester of Service Program, you will support a federal program by collecting, cleaning, and organizing policy data. This volunteer project-based opportunity allows you to gain hands-on experience and career-ready skills while contributing to real federal missions. Your primary responsibilities include gathering policy-related data from various sources, ensuring its accuracy and completeness, and structuring it for analysis. You will work with MS Excel to manage and clean datasets, and use STATA for basic data processing tasks.

Applicants must be enrolled at least half-time in an accredited trade school, technical/vocational institute, junior college, college, university, or other accredited educational institution. Preferred candidates are those pursuing graduate studies in economics, public policy, or related fields.
