Registered Nurse - Infection Preventionist Consultant

The IP Consultant position reports to the Manager, Infection Control and works collaboratively with the Infection Control Committee/Infectious Disease physician to create a safe and clean environment for patient care. Quality management duties shall include engaging in investigative and/or audit functions, i.e., TJC, Sentinel Events, OIG, Fact Findings, etc.

Basic Requirements: English Language Proficiency. In accordance with 38 U.S.C. 7403(f), no person shall serve in direct patient care positions unless they are proficient in basic written and spoken English.
