CHILD DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM ASSISTANT 500 Recruitment Incentive - DIX

The Child Development Program Assistant supports the operation of the Child Development Center at Fort Dix, New Jersey. Responsibilities include assisting in the implementation of developmentally appropriate activities for children and youth, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment, and maintaining positive interactions with children and families. The assistant will work under the guidance of senior staff to support daily program activities, including supervision of children, participation in educational and recreational activities, and adherence to program policies and procedures.

ALL LEVELS: Must be a high school graduate or equivalent, with proof (diploma or equivalent) required. For CY PROGRAM ASSISTANT (TARGET LEVEL): 18 months of experience working in any childcare or youth program, plus completion of DoD-approved competency-training courses.
