RN-Medical Surgical Intensive Care Unit

The Registered Nurse in the Medical Surgical Intensive Care Unit (MSICU) provides direct patient care to critically ill patients, utilizing advanced assessment skills and critical thinking to manage complex medical and surgical conditions. Responsibilities include monitoring vital signs, administering medications, managing ventilators, and performing interventions such as central line care and hemodynamic monitoring. The nurse collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans, ensuring patient safety and adherence to evidence-based practices.

Basic Requirements: U.S. citizenship; proficiency in written and spoken English; graduate of a professional nursing program accredited by ACEN or CCNE (or equivalent for foreign graduates); current, full, active, and unrestricted registration as a graduate professional nurse in a U.S.
