Personal Loan Consultant

As a Personal Loan Consultant, you will be responsible for driving sales and providing exceptional customer service by assessing client financial needs and offering tailored loan solutions. Your primary duties include: Sales and Customer Engagement: Proactively reach out to potential and existing customers to present loan products, explain terms, and guide them through the application process. Listen actively to customer needs to recommend appropriate financing options for personal expenses, debt consolidation, or other life events. Application Processing: Collect and verify customer information, including income, credit history, and employment details. Ensure all documentation is complete and accurate to facilitate timely loan approvals. Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to foster loyalty and repeat business. Provide ongoing support and follow-up to ensure customer satisfaction and address any concerns. Compliance and Risk Management: Adhere to all company policies, regulatory requirements, and lending guidelines. Maintain confidentiality of customer data and ensure ethical practices in all transactions. Performance Goals: Meet or exceed individual and team sales targets, including loan volume, approval rates, and customer satisfaction metrics. Participate in training and development programs to enhance product knowledge and sales skills. Collaboration: Work closely with underwriting, operations, and other departments to resolve issues and streamline processes. Share best practices and contribute to a positive team environment. - High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree preferred - Proven experience in sales, customer service, or financial services (1-3 years preferred) - Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written - Ability to assess customer financial needs and explain loan products clearly - Proficiency with computer systems and basic software applications - Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills - Ability to work in a competitive, target-driven environment - Must be able to pass a background check and credit check as required by company policy - Valid driver's license and reliable transportation may be required for some locations
