J-1 Culinary Trainee Program As a Culinary Trainee, you'll develop hands-on skills in a fast-paced professional kitchen while learning from experienced chefs in a luxury hotel environment. Your training will include: • Preparing ingredients, including peeling and cutting fruits and vegetables, and assisting with banquet food preparation and plating.
• Maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient workstation.
• Following standardized recipes to ensure consistent quality and presentation.
• Minimizing food waste while practicing cost-conscious kitchen operations.
• Working alongside professional chefs to achieve daily production and service goals.
• Monitoring inventory and keeping workstations fully stocked with necessary supplies.
• Handling, storing, preparing, and serving food in accordance with food safety and sanitation standards.
• Participating in additional culinary and kitchen operations training as assigned. Benefits: The hotel offers a competitive rate of pay ($10.00-$12.00 USD per hour)

The hotel will provide temporary housing for candidates (up to 14 days) until they secure permanent housing.
