The vehicles they may be driving are light duty trucks - Chevy Silverado 1500 single or crew cab - approx 4800 lbs and approx 133 hp. The grounds maintenance equipment would be tools required such as shovels, non-motorized broadcast spreaders for ice melt or gravel and push behind snow blowers (approx 8 hp). The vehicles will be used to transport ground maintenance equipment and other employees from Titan's location to the specific jobsite. The shovels will be used to push snow from sidewalks and handicap parking areas. The employee will place bags of ice melt or gravel into a broadcast spreader. They will place the ice melt/gravel on sidewalks to keep the areas from ice or persons from slipping on the surface. The snow blowers are used to move the snow off the sidewalks or handicap parking areas. The employees would be clearing snow from sidewalks, steps, and handicap ramps that may be part of access areas (doorways) to a building. Handicap parking spots require additional care and are located within parking lots. The snow at handicap spots requires detail work which must be manually moved either by shovels or by snow blowers. Duties may include: Workers perform janitorial and grounds maintenance duties to keep buildings, facilities, and surrounding areas clean, safe, and orderly. Duties include sweeping, washing surfaces, collecting and disposing of trash/litter/debris, and cleaning equipment and work areas. Employees inspect facilities for maintenance needs and report repairs or safety concerns to supervisors. Duties may include operating cleaning equipment, hand tools, vehicles, and grounds maintenance equipment to maintain buildings and outdoor areas. Employees remove snow, ice, and debris from sidewalks, driveways, parking lots, and other access areas to maintain safe conditions. Workers perform physically demanding activities such as lifting, carrying, walking, climbing, bending, and handling materials while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment & other related Janitorial Staff activities as per SOC/OES 37-2011 (onetonline.org). Standard/Expected Schedule: Monday-Friday 9:00AM-5:00PM. Offering 40+ (plus) hours per week; not including applicable lunch and/or breaks. Possible weekend/holiday work. Start/end times, offered hours and/or overtime could vary as they may be dependent upon other factors such as project/schedule/service needs, weather, and commute time between worksites (if applicable).
