As an Apprentice Chef at Twycross Zoo, you will work under the guidance of the Head Chef to support the daily operations of the kitchen. Your primary responsibilities include:
Assisting in the preparation and cooking of menu items to the highest standards, ensuring consistency and quality.
Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment in compliance with health and safety regulations.
Supporting the kitchen team during service hours, ensuring timely and efficient food delivery.
Learning and applying various culinary techniques and recipes as part of your apprenticeship.

A passion for culinary arts and a desire to develop your skills in a professional kitchen.
Basic knowledge of food preparation and cooking techniques (previous experience is a plus but not required).
