Resource - Respite Center Internship-10001

The Resource Center is a 4-bedroom respite home serving individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) and neurodevelopmental disabilities (NDD) over age 18. Guests stay from 2 to 30 days to engage in therapeutic activities designed to create healthy habits, reduce crisis, and maintain stability. The intern will support daily operations, assist with therapeutic programming, and help guests develop routines and coping strategies.

Must be registered in a Human Services degree program (Associate, Bachelor, or Master). Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work with individuals with IDD/NDD. Basic understanding of therapeutic activities and crisis management. Reliable and compassionate demeanor.
