Budget Specialist

As a Budget Specialist in the Pathways Recent Graduates Program at the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC), you will join the Budget Team and engage in a developmental role focused on federal budgeting, financial analysis, and strategic planning. Your responsibilities will vary by grade level, with increasing independence and complexity as you progress. At the CT-7 level, you will receive training and perform tasks of limited scope and complexity, building foundational knowledge in budget processes and financial operations.

To qualify for this position, you must meet the education or experience requirements by the closing of the announcement. For the CT-7 level: completion of a bachelor's degree; OR 1 full year of graduate-level education; OR Superior Academic Achievement (SAA).
