As a Carpenter Apprentice at McMurdo Station, Antarctica, you will assist in the construction, maintenance, and repair of buildings and structures that support the United States Antarctic Program. Your responsibilities include:
Assisting experienced carpenters in framing, roofing, siding, and finishing work on residential, commercial, and industrial buildings.
Performing basic carpentry tasks such as measuring, cutting, and assembling materials under supervision.
Maintaining tools and equipment, ensuring they are clean, safe, and in good working order.
