As a Heavy Diesel Technician Apprentice, you will work alongside experienced technicians to repair and maintain some of New Zealand's largest and most advanced plant and equipment. Your responsibilities include:
Performing diagnostics and repairs on heavy diesel engines, transmissions, and hydraulic systems.
Utilizing advanced diagnostic tools and electronics to troubleshoot equipment issues.
Conducting routine maintenance and inspections to ensure equipment reliability and compliance.
Learning and applying modern onboard technology and compliance standards.

A strong interest in heavy diesel mechanics and mobile plant technology.
Basic mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
