Key Responsibilities
Drive Cultural Shift: Champion a "quality-first" mentality across all product and engineering teams, advocating for testability from the initial design phase.
Strategic Test Planning: Translate complex fintech product features and business values into detailed, actionable, and scalable automation testing plans.
Agile Integration: Embed QA seamlessly into our Agile software development lifecycle (SDLC), optimizing our CI/CD pipelines for rapid, reliable releases.
Domain-Driven Testing: Leverage your deep understanding of the FX market to anticipate edge cases, designing test scenarios that reflect real-world trading behaviors.
Team Leadership: Build, mentor, and scale a high-performing team of automation engineers while selecting the best tools and frameworks for our technology stack.
Collaborate closely with Product, Development, Support, and Business teams
Introduce innovative tools and AI-driven approaches to improve QA efficiency
Requirements
7+ years of experience in Automation testing
Industry Expertise: Proven track record in a QA/Automation leadership role specifically within the Fintech, FX, or capital markets industry.
Product Acumen: Deep understanding of trading technology products, market mechanics, and how to validate financial software at scale.
Technical Mastery: Extensive experience designing automation frameworks from scratch and a strong grasp of modern development lifecycles.
Agile Veteran: Highly experienced operating within Agile/Scrum environments, with a clear vision of how QA fits into continuous delivery.
Communication: Exceptional ability to translate technical constraints to business stakeholders and business requirements to engineering teams
