Wairarapa Mill - Maintenance Apprenticeship

This is a full-time Maintenance Engineer Apprenticeship opportunity based at the Wairarapa Mill site. The role involves gaining hands-on experience working onsite while attending block courses. You will be fully supported by the Engineering Team in studying towards a NZ Trade Certificate in Mechanical Engineering Level 4. Key responsibilities include performing maintenance tasks on industrial equipment, assisting with repairs and troubleshooting, learning to operate and maintain machinery, following safety protocols, and contributing to the overall efficiency of the mill operations.

Passion for the industry and a willingness to learn. No prior experience required as full training will be provided. Must be committed to completing the apprenticeship program and studying towards the NZ Trade Certificate in Mechanical Engineering Level 4.
