Position: Bilingual Dutch (Netherlands) STEM Expert (PhD) — AI Safety
Type:Contract
Compensation:$61–$65/hour
Location:Remote
Role Responsibilities
Write expert-level prompts in Netherlands Dutch across specialized scientific topics.
Evaluate and annotate model responses for scientific accuracy, helpfulness, and appropriate handling of sensitive content.
Apply structured guidelines to classify prompts and conversations.
Work independently and asynchronously to ensure model safety and performance.
Collaborate with AI research teams to improve model handling of technical topics in Dutch.
Qualifications
Must-Have
PhD in chemistry, biology, or a closely related field — ongoing or completed.
Native or near-native fluency in Dutch as spoken in the Netherlands.
Business-level written English.
Currently based in the Netherlands.
Deep familiarity with modern laboratory and computational techniques.
Sound judgment around scientific safety and responsible handling of dual-use information.
Preferred
Radiological and nuclear coverage from a chemistry background.
Demonstrated depth in a specific subfield such as organic or inorganic synthesis, molecular biology, microbiology, virology, or genetics.
Research or coursework on chemical safety and security, biosafety and biosecurity, or hazardous-materials handling.
Experience reviewing, grading, or red-teaming technical content.
