As a Trainee Recruitment Consultant, you will be responsible for driving the full recruitment lifecycle with a strong focus on sales. Your primary duties include:
Client Acquisition and Business Development: Proactively identify and engage potential clients through cold calling, networking, and market research. Build and maintain a pipeline of new business opportunities to expand the company's client base.
Candidate Sourcing and Screening: Utilize various channels (job boards, social media, referrals) to attract top talent. Conduct initial interviews and assessments to evaluate candidate suitability for client requirements.
Relationship Management: Develop and nurture long-term relationships with both clients and candidates. Understand client needs and provide tailored recruitment solutions to ensure successful placements.
Sales and Negotiation: Manage the end-to-end sales process, including presenting candidates to clients, negotiating offers, and closing deals. Achieve and exceed individual and team sales targets.
Market Intelligence: Stay informed about industry trends, salary benchmarks, and competitor activities to provide valuable insights to clients and candidates.
Administrative Tasks: Maintain accurate records of all interactions and transactions in the CRM system. Prepare reports on sales activities and performance metrics.
This role is fast-paced and target-driven, requiring resilience, persistence, and a proactive approach. You will work in a collaborative team environment with opportunities for rapid progression based on performance.
