Millwright Apprenticeship

The Millwright Apprenticeship is a 4-year training programme designed to develop skills towards obtaining a trade qualification as a Millwright. Apprentices will engage in hands-on training and theoretical learning to become proficient in the installation, maintenance, and repair of industrial machinery and equipment. Responsibilities include performing mechanical and electrical maintenance tasks, troubleshooting equipment malfunctions, conducting inspections, and ensuring compliance with safety standards.

Applicants must be South African citizens from previously disadvantaged groups, in line with the Employment Equity Act 55 of 1998. Candidates must have a Senior Certificate or Matric with English passed at a minimum of 50%, and Mathematics (not Mathematical Literacy) passed at a minimum of 50%.
