Supervisory Health Tech - Houston

The Supervisory Health Tech (Optician) coordinates optical operations within the VCS Optical Shop at the Houston, TX VA Medical Center. This role serves as a key liaison between VCS, eye clinic providers, and prosthetics teams to deliver exceptional service to Veterans. Responsibilities include: Operations Coordination: Oversee daily optical shop activities, ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality service delivery. Liaison Duties: Act as the primary point of contact between VCS, eye clinic providers, and prosthetics teams to facilitate seamless patient care.

Qualifications and requirements: At least one (1) year of specialized experience demonstrating the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to successfully perform the duties of this position. Demonstrated advanced computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
