As a Registered Nurse (RN) with our team, you will provide direct patient care across various hospital settings, ensuring high-quality, compassionate nursing services. Your primary responsibilities include assessing patient health conditions, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and monitoring patient progress. You will administer medications, perform treatments, and coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes. Key duties involve documenting patient information accurately, educating patients and families on health management, and adhering to safety and infection control protocols. You will also respond to emergencies, manage patient admissions and discharges, and maintain a clean, organized work environment. In addition, you will collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to adjust care plans as needed, participate in quality improvement initiatives, and uphold ethical standards in nursing practice. Your role requires strong clinical judgment, effective communication, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. You will be expected to prioritize tasks, manage multiple patients, and provide emotional support to patients and their families. Continuous learning and professional development are encouraged to stay current with best practices in nursing care.

To be considered for this position, you must have a current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Missouri or a compact state license. A minimum of an Associate's degree in Nursing (ADN) is required; a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred. You should have at least one year of recent acute care nursing experience. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association is required. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification is preferred for certain units. Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills are essential. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities are necessary for effective patient and team interaction. Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems is expected. You must be able to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and perform physical tasks associated with patient care. Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, is required.
