Entertainment and Attractions Internship (DOSWELL)

As an Entertainment and Attractions Intern at Kings Dominion & Soak City, you will support the daily operations of the park's entertainment and attractions departments. Your responsibilities include assisting with the coordination and execution of live shows, special events, and guest experiences. You will work closely with the entertainment team to schedule performances, manage backstage logistics, and ensure all shows run smoothly. Additionally, you will help maintain attraction areas by monitoring ride operations, assisting with guest flow, and ensuring safety protocols are followed. You will also participate in training sessions to learn about park operations, customer service standards, and emergency procedures. This role involves interacting with guests to enhance their experience, providing information about attractions, and resolving any issues that arise. You will contribute to the overall atmosphere of the park by supporting themed events, parades, and seasonal activities. The internship offers hands-on experience in event planning, crowd management, and team collaboration within a fast-paced entertainment environment.

Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from an accredited college or university. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and evenings. Must be at least 18 years of age. Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, or entertainment is preferred but not required. Ability to stand for extended periods and work outdoors in various weather conditions. Must pass a background check and drug screening.
