Culinary Services Internship (JACKSON)

As a Culinary Services Intern at Six Flags Great Adventure, you will support the Food and Beverage Department in delivering exceptional meals and creating memorable family experiences. Your responsibilities will include assisting with daily food preparation and service operations, ensuring quality and consistency across all culinary offerings. You will help maintain cleanliness and safety standards in kitchen and dining areas, following health regulations and company policies. You will collaborate with team members to streamline service flow during peak hours, addressing guest needs promptly and courteously. Additionally, you will participate in inventory management, including tracking stock levels and assisting with supply orders. You will have the opportunity to learn about menu planning and cost control by observing and supporting senior culinary staff. You will also contribute to special events and promotions, helping to execute themed dining experiences. Through this internship, you will gain hands-on experience in high-volume food service, team coordination, and guest satisfaction strategies within a dynamic amusement park environment.

Currently enrolled in or a recent graduate of a hospitality management, culinary arts, or related program. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts. Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices. Previous food service or customer service experience preferred. Must be at least 18 years of age.
