RN-Nurse Manager Acute Inpatient Mental Health

The Inpatient Nurse Manager is responsible for the administration and evaluation of nursing care, program implementation, personnel management, and overall operations within an assigned Mental Health Program treating Veterans with Mental Illness and poly-substance abuse. This role reports to the Chief Nurse for Mental Health. Key responsibilities include: Overseeing the delivery of nursing care to ensure high-quality, patient-centered treatment for Veterans with acute mental health conditions and substance use disorders.

Basic Requirements: English Language Proficiency: Must be proficient in basic written and spoken English as per 38 U.S.C. 7403(f). Education: Graduate of a school of professional nursing approved by the appropriate accrediting agency (e.g., ACEN or CCNE).
