Registered Nurse-Interventional Radiology

The Registered Nurse in Interventional Radiology provides direct patient care in a specialized procedural setting. Responsibilities include: assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for patients undergoing interventional radiology procedures such as angiography, biopsies, drainages, and vascular interventions. The nurse monitors patients before, during, and after procedures, ensuring safety and managing sedation, pain, and hemodynamic stability.

Basic Requirements: 1. Proficiency in basic written and spoken English. 2. Graduate of a school of professional nursing approved by the appropriate accrediting agency and accredited by ACEN or CCNE at the time the program was completed.
