Short Term Internship 2026

As a Short Term Intern at CERN, you will contribute to cutting-edge research in particle physics and engineering. Your responsibilities will include: Assisting physicists and engineers in operating and maintaining the world's largest and most complex scientific instruments, such as the Large Hadron Collider. Participating in data collection and analysis from particle collisions to study fundamental particles and their interactions. Supporting the development and testing of experimental setups, detectors, or accelerator components.

Qualifications and requirements: Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in physics, engineering, computer science, or a related field. Strong academic record with coursework relevant to particle physics, accelerator science, or experimental methods.
