Mechanical Engineering Internship 2026/2027

As a Mechanical Engineering Intern at Halter, you will contribute to the design, development, and testing of hardware systems that enable virtual fencing and livestock management. Your responsibilities will include: Assisting in the mechanical design and prototyping of new products and components, using CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks) to create detailed 3D models and 2D drawings. Conducting engineering analysis, including finite element analysis (FEA) and tolerance stack-ups, to ensure designs meet performance and reliability requirements.

Qualifications and requirements: Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Strong understanding of mechanical engineering fundamentals, including mechanics, materials science, and thermodynamics.
