Sales Internship

The Sales Intern will participate in a 10-week paid internship focused on learning the three core phases of business within a local operation: Recruiting, Account Management, and Field Support, with a heavy emphasis on sales. Responsibilities include: - Recruiting: Source, screen, and interview candidates to build a pipeline of qualified talent. Learn to assess candidate skills, experience, and fit for client needs. - Account Management: Develop relationships with clients to understand their staffing requirements. Support account managers in maintaining client satisfaction and identifying new business opportunities. - Field Support: Assist with on-site coordination and support for contractors and clients. Ensure smooth integration of placed talent into client operations. - Sales Activities: Engage in sales-focused tasks such as cold calling, lead generation, and client presentations. Learn to negotiate contracts and close deals under the guidance of senior sales staff. - Interfacing: Communicate effectively with Aerotek employees, candidates, contractors, and clients to facilitate business operations. Demonstrate strong business acumen in all interactions. - Program Completion: Successfully complete the internship program to potentially qualify for full-time opportunities within the organization.

Qualifications and requirements: - Currently enrolled in or recent graduate of a bachelor's degree program, preferably in business, sales, marketing, or a related field. - Strong business acumen and interest in a sales career. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. - Self-motivated with a proactive approach to learning and problem-solving. - Prior internship or work experience in sales or customer service is a plus. - Must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.
