Nurse Practitioner – Nurse Practitioner Intern

As an Intern Nurse Practitioner at Hutt Hospital, you will work under supervision to provide advanced nursing care to patients. Your responsibilities include: Conducting comprehensive health assessments, including physical examinations, diagnostic tests, and patient histories. Developing and implementing patient care plans in collaboration with healthcare teams. Prescribing medications and treatments within your scope of practice. Monitoring patient progress and adjusting care plans as needed. Providing health education and counseling to patients and their families.

Qualifications and requirements: Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing Council of New Zealand. Enrolled in or completed an accredited Nurse Practitioner program. Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
