Die Maintenance Apprentice

As a Die Maintenance Apprentice, you will be responsible for supporting the maintenance and repair of die-cast tooling used in the production of automotive components. Your primary duties will include: Assisting in the inspection, cleaning, and preventive maintenance of dies and molds to ensure optimal performance and longevity. Learning and applying techniques for die repair, including welding, grinding, and polishing to restore tooling to specification. Collaborating with experienced die maintenance technicians to troubleshoot and resolve tooling issues during production runs.

To be successful in this role, you should have: A strong interest in mechanical maintenance and tooling, with a willingness to learn die maintenance techniques. Basic understanding of mechanical systems and hand tools; prior experience in a manufacturing or maintenance environment is a plus.
