Child and Youth Program Assistant (School Age

The Child and Youth Program Assistant (School Age) is responsible for supporting the development and care of school-age children and youth in a School Age Center or Youth Center environment. Duties include planning and implementing age-appropriate activities that promote physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development. The assistant will supervise children during indoor and outdoor activities, ensure a safe and healthy environment, and maintain positive interactions with children and families.

ALL LEVELS: Must be a high school graduate or equivalent, with proof of diploma or equivalent. For CY Program Assistant (Target Level): 18 months of experience working in any childcare or youth program, plus completion of DoD approved competency-training courses.
