The Legal Intern will support the Whitney's legal department in a variety of tasks related to the museum's operations.

Responsibilities include assisting with contract review and management, conducting legal research on issues such as intellectual property, employment law, and nonprofit governance, and drafting legal documents and correspondence.

The intern will also help maintain legal files and databases, attend meetings with legal counsel, and provide administrative support as needed.

Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program at an accredited academic institution.

Interest in law, particularly in areas relevant to museums or nonprofits.

Strong research, writing, and organizational skills.

Ability to work in a hybrid environment, with some onsite work required.
