岗位职责
As a Heavy-Duty Mechanic Apprentice at GFL Environmental, you will work under the guidance of experienced mechanics to perform maintenance and repairs on heavy-duty vehicles and equipment.
Your responsibilities include assisting with diagnosing mechanical issues, performing routine inspections, and conducting preventive maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake adjustments.
You will learn to repair or replace defective parts, including engines, transmissions, and hydraulic systems, using specialized tools and diagnostic equipment.

High school diploma or equivalent.
Enrollment in or completion of a recognized heavy-duty mechanic apprenticeship program.
Basic knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical systems.
Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
