As an ICT Apprentice, you will gain hands-on experience in information and communication technology while working alongside experienced professionals. Your primary responsibilities include:
Technical Support: Assist in maintaining and troubleshooting ICT systems, including hardware, software, and network infrastructure. Respond to user inquiries and resolve technical issues promptly.
System Administration: Support the installation, configuration, and updating of computer systems, servers, and peripherals. Monitor system performance and ensure security protocols are followed.
Network Management: Help manage local area networks (LAN), wide area networks (WAN), and internet connectivity. Assist in diagnosing network problems and implementing solutions.
Project Assistance: Participate in ICT projects, such as system upgrades, migrations, or new technology deployments. Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and objectives.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of technical procedures, system configurations, and incident reports. Contribute to knowledge base articles for end-user support.
User Training: Provide basic training to staff on software applications, cybersecurity best practices, and efficient use of ICT resources.
Compliance and Security: Ensure all ICT activities comply with company policies and industry regulations. Assist in implementing security measures to protect data and systems.
Continuous Learning: Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends. Apply new knowledge to improve ICT operations and support.
You will work in a collaborative environment, learning from senior technicians and engineers. This role offers a structured pathway to develop technical skills and gain recognized qualifications while contributing to real-world projects.

To be considered for this apprenticeship, you must have:
- **Education**: High school diploma or equivalent. Enrollment in or completion of a relevant ICT-related course is preferred.
