Apprentice - no experience required

As an Apprentice Soldier in the British Army, you will train to become a professional soldier while earning industry-recognised apprenticeships. Your responsibilities will include: - Completing basic military training to develop core soldiering skills, including physical fitness, weapon handling, fieldcraft, and navigation. - Participating in team-based exercises and operations, both in the UK and overseas, to support national security and international missions. - Engaging in continuous professional development through structured apprenticeship programmes, gaining qualifications in areas such as engineering, logistics, communications, or healthcare, depending on your chosen trade. - Working collaboratively with fellow soldiers to achieve shared objectives, fostering strong teamwork and camaraderie. - Adapting to diverse roles and environments, from peacekeeping and humanitarian aid to combat support, as directed by operational needs. - Maintaining high standards of discipline, resilience, and adaptability in challenging and dynamic situations. - Representing the Army and the UK with professionalism and integrity in all duties.

No prior experience is required. Candidates must: - Be a UK resident or have strong ties to the UK. - Be at least 16 years old (with parental consent if under 18) and meet the maximum age limit for the role. - Pass a medical and fitness assessment. - Have a clean criminal record and pass security clearance. - Demonstrate a willingness to learn, work as part of a team, and commit to the training and service obligations. - Possess basic literacy and numeracy skills; no formal educational qualifications are necessary.
