Graduate/Trainee Recruitment Consultant

As a Graduate/Trainee Recruitment Consultant, you will be responsible for managing the full recruitment lifecycle within a fast-paced consultancy environment. Your primary duties include sourcing, screening, and placing candidates across Engineering, Technical, IT, and Finance sectors. You will build and maintain strong relationships with both clients and candidates, understanding their needs to deliver tailored recruitment solutions. Daily tasks involve conducting market research to identify potential business opportunities, managing job postings on various platforms, and utilizing database systems to track candidate progress. You will also be expected to negotiate offers, coordinate interviews, and provide ongoing support to placed candidates. Additionally, you will contribute to business development efforts by networking, attending industry events, and generating leads. The role requires proactive communication, time management, and the ability to work towards targets and KPIs. You will receive full training and have opportunities for progression into management roles as the company expands across the UK and internationally.

No prior recruitment experience is required, as full training is provided. However, candidates should possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal. A proactive and self-motivated attitude is essential, along with the ability to work in a target-driven environment. Excellent organizational and time management abilities are required to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. A degree is preferred but not mandatory; equivalent experience or a strong willingness to learn is acceptable. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) is expected. The ability to build rapport quickly and maintain professional relationships is crucial. Resilience and a positive mindset are important for handling rejection and fast-paced demands.
