This position is located with the Bureau of Indian Affairs, District 1-Turtle Mountain Detention in Belcourt, North Dakota. The Correctional Officer is responsible for providing supervision and care to criminal offenders at a correctional and/or detention facility. Duties include maintaining documentation on inmates, controlling movements and supervision of inmates, and enforcing rules and regulations governing facility security, inmate accountability, and inmate conduct.

To qualify at the GL-07 grade level, candidates must meet one of the following criteria: A.
