Business Development Internship

As a Business Development Intern, you will support the growth and outreach initiatives of the credit union by assisting with market research, lead generation, and partnership development. Your primary responsibilities include identifying potential business opportunities, analyzing market trends, and compiling data to support strategic decisions. You will collaborate with the business development team to create and maintain a pipeline of prospective clients and partners, including local businesses, educational institutions, and community organizations. Additionally, you will help prepare presentations, proposals, and reports for internal and external stakeholders. You will also assist in coordinating events, such as networking sessions or community outreach activities, to enhance brand visibility and foster relationships. Other duties include updating CRM systems with accurate contact information, tracking outreach efforts, and providing administrative support as needed. This role offers hands-on experience in business development within a community-focused financial environment, allowing you to develop skills in communication, analysis, and project management.

Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from an accredited college or university, preferably with a focus on business, marketing, finance, or a related field. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. Interest in community banking or financial services is a plus. Must be able to commit up to 15 hours per week during standard business hours.
