Internship

As an intern at SavATree, you will gain hands-on experience in the tree, shrub, and lawn care industry. Your primary responsibilities include assisting with field operations, such as supporting arborists and technicians in tree pruning, removal, and plant health care treatments. You will learn to identify common pests, diseases, and environmental stressors affecting trees and shrubs, and help implement integrated pest management strategies. Additionally, you will participate in site assessments, documenting tree conditions and recommending care plans. In the office, you may assist with scheduling, customer service, and data entry related to service records. You will also have opportunities to attend training sessions on safety protocols, equipment operation, and industry best practices. This internship is designed to provide a comprehensive understanding of arboriculture and landscape management, preparing you for a career in the green industry.

Currently enrolled in or recent graduate of a degree program in arboriculture, forestry, horticulture, environmental science, or a related field. Strong interest in tree and plant care. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Basic computer proficiency. Prior experience in landscaping or tree care is a plus but not required.
