As an Electrical Engineering Intern for Summer 2026, you will support product development projects across multiple industries, including transportation, aerospace, defense, and theme parks. Your responsibilities will be organized into the following areas:
Design and Development:
Assist in the design and development of electrical systems and components for various engineering projects.
Create and modify electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and circuit layouts using industry-standard software.
Participate in design reviews and contribute to the optimization of electrical designs for performance, cost, and manufacturability.
Testing and Validation:
Conduct laboratory testing of electrical systems and components to verify functionality and compliance with specifications.
Set up test equipment, collect data, and analyze results to identify issues and recommend improvements.
Document test procedures, results, and findings in technical reports.
Prototyping and Manufacturing Support:
Assist in the assembly and debugging of prototype electrical systems.
Collaborate with manufacturing teams to ensure designs are producible and meet quality standards.
Support troubleshooting of electrical issues during prototype and production phases.
Documentation and Compliance:
Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including specifications, test plans, and user manuals.
Ensure designs comply with relevant industry standards and safety regulations.
Participate in cross-functional team meetings to provide electrical engineering support.
Project Collaboration:
Work closely with senior engineers and other interns on multidisciplinary projects.
Contribute to project planning, scheduling, and status reporting.
Engage in continuous learning and skill development through hands-on experience and mentorship.

**Qualifications and Requirements:**
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
- Strong academic record with coursework in circuit analysis, electronics, and systems design.
- Proficiency in using electrical design software (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical, Altium, or similar).
- Hands-on experience with laboratory equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and signal generators.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Prior internship or project experience in electrical engineering is a plus.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
