FP&A Internship

As an FP&A Intern focused on Accounts Receivable strategy, you will work on initiatives that directly impact cash flow and financial efficiency. Your responsibilities include analyzing AR aging, delinquency trends, and payment behavior across customers, regions, or business units. You will identify root causes of payment delays and propose actionable improvements to reduce days sales outstanding (DSO). Additionally, you will support the development of cash flow forecasts and AR-related financial models to enhance liquidity planning. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, operations, and finance, to align AR strategies with business objectives. You will also prepare regular reports and dashboards to track AR performance metrics and present findings to senior management. Other duties may include assisting with month-end closing processes related to AR, conducting ad-hoc analyses on customer credit risk, and contributing to process automation initiatives to streamline AR operations.

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the essential duties satisfactorily. Other minor duties may be assigned and may vary by department. Qualifications include current enrollment in a bachelor's or master's degree program in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are required, with proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP, financial modeling). Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are necessary for cross-functional collaboration. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment is essential. Prior internship experience in finance or accounting is a plus.
