The Staff Psychologist in the Community Living Center provides psychological services within the Geriatric and Extended Care (GEC) program at the Hampton Veterans Affairs Medical Center. Responsibilities include diagnosing mental disorders, conducting psychological or neuropsychological assessments, and treating mental disorders through a variety of therapeutic modalities. The psychologist also provides adjunctive interventions for treatment of medical disorders and offers professional advice and consultation in areas related to professional psychology and behavioral health.

Qualifications include United States citizenship; a doctoral degree in psychology from an APA, PCSAS, or CPA accredited program (or equivalent re-specialization program); completion of a professional psychology internship accredited by APA or CPA (or equivalent); and a full, current, unrestricted li
