The Patient Safety Officer is part of a high performance team that reports to the Quality Management Officer. The incumbent works collaboratively with staff and stakeholders at VISN and national levels to provide support for the implementation and evaluation of a comprehensive patient safety program throughout the continuum of health care services for veterans. This position provides vision level leadership, program coordination and oversight in all facets of patient safety initiatives.
