The Health Technician (Perioperative) provides support duties to medical or health personnel such as audiologists, speech pathologists, medical officers, and optometrists. Responsibilities include applying the knowledge, methods, and techniques of perioperative practice to assist in surgical or clinical settings. Duties may involve preparing and maintaining sterile fields, assisting with patient positioning and transport, handling surgical instruments and supplies, and ensuring a safe and efficient operating room environment.

To qualify, applicants must meet all requirements by the closing date of 07/20/2026. Specialized experience is required at the GS-4 level and above, which involves applying knowledge, methods, and techniques of the position.
