The CIA seeks Clinical Psychologists to provide psychological assessments, interventions, consultations, and training for national security, requiring U.S. citizenship, a background investigation, and at least five years of independently licensed clinical work.
岗位职责
As a Clinical Psychologist with the CIA, you will provide a range of psychological services to support national security. Your primary responsibilities include conducting psychological assessments and diagnoses using evidence-based therapeutic modalities. You will work within multidisciplinary teams to write comprehensive reports, effectively communicate results, and brief stakeholders on findings. The role requires flexibility to engage in various clinical psychology functions throughout your career, including interventions, consultations, and training. You must be willing and able to travel and/or live abroad as needed. Additionally, you will maintain clinical activity, ensuring at least five years of independently licensed work in patient assessment and/or direct patient care within the last seven years, excluding time spent in clinical education or training programs. You will also be required to meet the minimum qualifications for joining the CIA Healthcare Providers Association, including Basic Life Support for Providers certification through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross, with hands-on, in-person portions for hybrid-style testing.

- Expertise with multidisciplinary teams, writing comprehensive reports, effectively communicating results, and briefing stakeholders
- Flexibility to engage in a range of clinical psychology roles and responsibilities throughout career
- Willingness and ability to travel and/or live abroad
- Basic Life Support for Providers certification through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross (including hands-on, in-person portions for hybrid-style testing)
- At least five years of independently licensed work in patient assessment and/or direct patient care within the last seven years (excluding time in clinical education or training programs)
- Recent clinical activity
- American Board of Professional Psychology (ABPP) certification (desired)
- Successful completion of a post-doctoral fellowship/residency in clinical psychology (desired)
- Experience working in the Intelligence Community, U.S. Government, University, Medical center/hospital, and/or other relevant settings (desired)
