The Material Planner is responsible for efficiently managing the planning and procurement of materials to support production schedules. Key responsibilities include:
Material Planning: Develop and maintain material requirement plans based on production forecasts, inventory levels, and lead times. Monitor inventory levels to ensure optimal stock levels while minimizing excess and obsolete inventory.
Supplier Coordination: Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials, resolve supply issues, and maintain strong relationships.
