Loan Sales Specialist - South Denver

As a Loan Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for driving loan origination and sales growth within the South Denver market. Your primary duties include: Customer Engagement and Needs Assessment: Proactively engage with walk-in customers and inbound leads to understand their financial needs. Listen attentively to identify appropriate loan products that align with their goals, ensuring a personalized and positive customer experience. Loan Origination and Sales: Present and explain loan options, terms, and conditions to customers. Process loan applications accurately and efficiently, guiding customers through the documentation and approval process. Meet or exceed individual and team sales targets for loan volume and quality. Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to foster loyalty and repeat business. Follow up with existing customers for refinancing or additional loan needs, and generate referrals through exceptional service. Compliance and Documentation: Ensure all loan transactions comply with company policies, regulatory requirements, and lending guidelines. Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, loan applications, and approvals in the company’s systems. Market and Product Knowledge: Stay informed about current loan products, interest rates, and promotional offers. Continuously update knowledge of local market trends and competitor activities to effectively position OneMain’s offerings. Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with branch team members to achieve overall branch goals. Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and sales contests to enhance performance and professional growth. Operational Support: Assist with general office duties such as answering phones, managing customer inquiries, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. Support other team members as needed to ensure smooth branch operations.

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and experience: - **Education**: High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field preferred. - **Experience**: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in sales, customer service, or financial services, preferably in a loan origination or retail banking environment. - **Skills**: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with customers. Excellent listening and problem-solving abilities. Proficiency in using computer systems and loan processing software. - **Licensing**: Must be able to obtain and maintain required state-specific lending licenses (e.g., NMLS registration) within 90 days of hire. - **Personal Attributes**: Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and comfortable working in a competitive, fast-paced environment.
