The Infection Preventionist (IP) Consultant reports to the Manager, Infection Control and works collaboratively with the Infection Control Committee and Infectious Disease physician to ensure a safe and clean environment for patient care.

Key responsibilities include engaging in investigative and audit functions related to quality management, such as those for The Joint Commission (TJC), Sentinel Events, Office of Inspector General (OIG), and Fact Findings.

Graduate of a school of professional nursing approved by the appropriate accrediting agency, accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) or the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE).
