As an Intern in the Purchasing department, you will support the procurement team in sourcing and purchasing activities. Your responsibilities include:
Assisting in the preparation and processing of purchase orders and requisitions.
Conducting market research to identify potential suppliers and evaluate their capabilities.
Maintaining and updating supplier databases and procurement records.
Coordinating with internal departments to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
Participating in supplier negotiations and contract management under supervision.
